Although he didn't grow up a "cat person", my husband fixes the cats' breakfast every morning, so this struck my funny bone and I gave it to him for his birthday. Then our black cat- the first of all our cats to claim my husband as "his person"- died last month unexpectedly. Then, horrors!, a few days later I accidentally broke the mug. Because Charon meant so much to both of us, I immediately ordered a new one.
